9-Days Dussehra Navratri Avatars and Naivedyam List
Navaratri is a nine-night festival celebrated in honor of the Goddess Durga and her nine avatars. The festival signifies the victory of good over evil and is celebrated with differed customs and practices throughout India. This article is especially for the Indian people living in the USA.
Each night of Navaratri is dedicated to honoring a different avatar of the Goddess Durga, with a special sweet dish prepared in her honor.
This year, MyHomeGrocers want to introduce you to the nine tastes and avatars of navratri by featuring a different sweets/naivedyam, colors and flowers for each night of the festival.
1. Shailaputri

2. Brahmacharini

3. Chandraghanta

4. Kushmanda
